Would you like a personal check-up for yourself? Do you need to undergo a medical examination soon?
Want to know or monitor your cholesterol level? Then you can do so with this Basic Check-up.

This blood analysis must be done in the morning when you are sober, i.e. you should not eat anything after 8 p.m. the night before and only drink water. However, medication may be taken with some water.

The results are generally available within 48 h.
We recommend an annual check up.

How do I prepare?

The optimal time for blood collection is inthe morning after bed rest and overnight fasting. Fasting means not eating and drinking only water after 10 p.m. the night before.

Not being sober mainly affects the determination of substances resorbed from the diet as such (glucose, triglycerides, etc.). Indirectly, lipemic samples (elevated triglycerides) can technically interfere with the determinations. A number of parameters (e.g., iron, phosphate, cortisol) also show fluctuations during the day.

This basic health check tests 12 important parameters in the blood that give a good view of the basic functions of your body and may indicate incipient diseases.
For example, it looks at anemia (hemoglobin), the presence of infection/inflammation (CRP), liver function (ALT) and kidney function (creatinine, eGFR). In addition, a very complete examination of (early stage of) diabetes (fasting glucose, HbA1c) and the cholesterol and fats in your blood as an indicator of your cardiovascular risk is done.
